i am pretty good at my job but am not seeing fairness in pay and can't stand my department (cool kids club/good ole boy club). I am being considered for a HR Analyst role as we speak with potential of making $20k more (HR and Talent Acquisition are separate at my company). Is it worth the jump to HR/Benefits or should I just get the experience and eventually make more money in Recruiting? I have a general background in HR but find recruiting to be super easy, to be honest.

Don’t believe mid-tier firms who tell you that you will have better work-life balance than the Big 4. If you want work-life balance, you will need to exit public accounting.

The same jobs open for 2 1/2 yrs reposting salaries after interviewing 100 then cutting the salary by up to $50k They say can’t find people but they fire you in 90 days when your working 80 hours a week or people are walking!

Contemplating a career switch into consulting as I want to go non-technical. I don't want to pay 250k for ivy league MBA. I have a MS in computer engg from a top 5 engineering school. 7YOE at a top 3 semiconductor as ML/AI engineer.

I can get 300+ maybe up to 400-450k TC in FAANG but not liking technical stuff anymore.

Do you think aiming for MBB for a Management Consulting[tech domain] role is a stretch given I have no consulting background? What kind of compensation can I expect?

Got an offer at a great company. Ive done this job before but moved away from it because it burnt me out because of the people and it scarred me. I have found out i have ptsd from it and am scared to start the new one. Been working on ptsd thru therapy. I know its a great firm and a great opportunity but my ptsd is bad. Another company last wk reached out same field diff role more chill and behind the scenes and i cant help but think about the easy way out over the challenge and better future.

I will be closing on my first home in March 2021 and started researching on mortgage. Is there any recommended website that says what today’s exact mortgage rate is ?. Why am I creating PMOs deliverables such as the project plan as the engagement mgr/functional lead of two workstreams. Pms argument is that they don’t know the content well enough to craft a substantive enough project plan.  Told him he should at least know enough or he’s prob not the right person for the job. That was only after he was giving me an attitude. He literally is my biggest blocker taking away from my time to deliver whats important....The SOLUTION.
