Seeking recommendations for a good book (or books) on enabling digital transformation at large companies. Any emphasis on AI/ML and Big Data applications would be helpful. Not seeking heavy tech/engineering content but just enough to be dangerous. Please and thank you!

My 2 cents. Digitization is in the eye of the beholder. If they track inventory on paper and move to excel that is Digitization. If they move from excel to ERP that is too. Point is that most use the term quite literally where a process get broken into 1s and 0s and each milestone becomes a transformation.

This. Worked in big tech and yet we still had internal "digital transformation." Basically meant upgrading architecture on already deployed MarTech to support larger volume, reducing the human overhead of getting data piecemeal. Also meant adding ML to previously heuristics driven decision making. Far cry from paper to excel or a first app deployment, but "digital transformation" all the same.

I need to make a quick decision- need to sign the lease today. I make about $5400/month net. I found a 1 bedroom in the city for 1800+200 for parking. All housing expenses considered, I’d be spending 43% of my monthly take home on living expenses. Is this dumb?

Hello all,

I’m a recent graduate of masters and currently have 2 offers in my hand.

1) One with CITI Bank with 100k salary and no sign on bonus and as it is in my home town as I stay with my family needs no relocation bonus required.

2) This is with American Airlines in Dallas Fort Worth which offered 100k + 10k bonus + 18k relocation bonus (required)

Which ofer should I consider given I’m a new graduate and this is going to be my first job. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
