For me it's the people not the place, so at home with my loving family. Hope you have a fun one!
^^^ Agree the people are most important. I'm bringing my best friend (which happens to be my boyfriend)!
Nashville was a fun NYE with friends
Paris outside Eiffel Tower was ehh. Got to have champagne outside but not much of a party
Ski house with friends
Cleveland!
I ended up in Tokyo for New Years once and that was pretty cool. Not sure I would go just for New Years but it was certainly memorable.
Dubai
Rome
Rome was pretty amazing. People celebrating in the streets, live music, fireworks over the coliseum... Stayed up all night and then drove around an empty city.
Madrid is also great fun, but I'm biased bc that's home. Still, very lively on the streets, lots of traditions
London! The fireworks are definitely worth it. Check out the BBC videos on YouTube. Great parties too!
Sydney!
Thanks everyone...
Ski house? We're thinking of Whistler for snowboarding adventures!!
@D4 - What do you recommend in a Madrid??
@D3 - What do you recommend in Rome?
@OW1 - We'd definitely do fireworks!! Anything else you recommend in London for festivities? This is my boyfriends favorite city in the world (that he's visited)
Vienna in front of City Hall. Major crowd, fireworks, big party, champagne everywhere, and the city itself looks pretty awesome.
Edinburgh same story, but even nicer people. Fireworks from the castle every hour from 9 pm to NY itself.
Sydney, Australia. Hands down
