I think they always have had these services, but are becoming more attractive, essentially consolidate to 1 provider can reduce fees.

Like a lot of others, I’m underpaid. I’ve been with my company for 3 years having worked various roles and have been working as a researcher for a couple years now.

Our org is restructuring and part of that is salaries are being reviewed and adjusted.

What are the chances I get the adjustment I deserve? They will need to bump me up 35%. Am I being foolish or do I need to look elsewhere?

What are peoples thoughts on two different career paths within public accounting. One is the typical longer hours like 55 hours or more during busy season and the other one is 40 hours a week all year long with a reduced salary, almost like a reduced schedule employee. The reduced hour career path allows you to enjoy whatever you enjoy about public without the long hours but your career progression will be similar to industry and the other path is pretty much what it is now. Thoughts?

Fed up of R&D tax, it has become so mundane. I like something which is constantly challenging and learning new stuff. I like reading these case laws and stuff, I also like when we do the data analysis using alteryx, but done with R&D. Any suggestions on what might be a good role for me?

Any advice on maximizing a boomerang? I left less than a year ago, but I want to go back. Set up a meeting with the Partner I worked with, and want to express that - I'm sure they'll take me back, but I don't want to seem too eager to the point where I don't get a $ bump or possibly a promotion. Any advice on this kind of negotiation?

I was wondering if someone can help me clarify the PA requirements for taking the CPA Test. I have a Bachelors degree in Economics, but no Accounting credits. I was wondering if my 36 credits in ECON, Finance, Business Law classes will qualify me to sit for the test? I fully understand I need 150 for the license, plus 12 accounting credits which I plan on pursuing after passing the tests. The NASBA site says you need 24 credits in the above but it’s not specific.
