Seems like around every corner there’s a senior copywriter position open but junior positions are few and far between. What’s going on?

I’ve recently been internally promoted (~1 week). But I still want to find a new job. Since I don’t have any accomplishments in this promoted position - do I still put it on my resume? And what do I put in the bullets that would be acceptable?

I have an offer for a PE Ops role and whilst comp is good it seems like they're hiring a pool of internal consultants to leverage for implementation projects within specific PortCos and therefore I won't be driving initiatives centrally - is this standard practice for Ops roles?

At this point I think I'll turn it down given I'm looking for something that operates more centrally (driving not implementing myself)

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?

I just had an employee tell me they are on the verge of quitting due to burnout- actually going to quit but was told to talk to HR for options (we don't have any in place). The manager wants to keep them as they are one of our best employees.

Any recommendations on how to help alleviate burnout when the cause is from customers rather than the company? Is it worth it to let the employee leave and spend months looking for a replacement causing more stress/burnout with others?
