Just had an industry interview and the internal audit team was only 2 other people which seems small to me. Is there a rule of thumb for how big should expect the internal audit team to be?

How are you all getting away with not giving recruiters a comp range? I turn the question back to them but most recruiters I’ve spoken to were persistent. “We have to put a number in your application”. *rolls eyes

Looking for new potential work. I’m not desperate. I have an interview on Friday, if they hire me and I take it, I’m leaving a toxic work environment, very poor management and nosy coworkers for another Union job but I feel better RBI’s new job will have better work relations, room for growth and better management. I have 7+ years of experience in java technology stack.
I am currently holding offers from the companies like TCS,Deloitte, Xoriant and ibm.
Maximum offer i have is of 23 LPA.

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? Several years ago a gay male acquaintance said he didn't date Black guys. It made me bristle but I was not surprised. Now he's married to one. I feel in a way vindicated every time I see his loving social media posts with his Black husband of like 5 years or so now.

How did he get over his apparent aversion to Black men enough to go and marry one? Where would he be if he hadn't had a change of heart?

I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Currently working on a three person team in a larger GC group. I lateraled from a different group that did not pay attorneys on an attorney scale. I’m stuck in my old pay scale but have gotten promotions and raises quickly with more on the horizon. A recruiter reached out with a new role for 2-2.5x more than I currently make doing something similar. I love my company and the people I work with but the money isn’t there. Is it worth trying to get a counter to stay if I get the bigger offer?
