Folks when does the firm notify if your H1B has been picked in the lottery? Last attempt and I cannot remember when they got back to me the last time it didn’t get picked

My H1B visa got stamped last year after 2.5 years of wait due to petition/RFE/Covid. There was no onsite slot in my project to travel due to resource cut. My India salary was less (13 lpa) and I was only getting promises for travel. Finally I decided to resign and got an offer (28 lpa). Now my company is saying there is a ready to move position in another project. But, things have changed, my wife is pregnant and I feel like my parents need me more as they are dependent on me. Contd..

My best friend has H1-B visa and a Canadian passport. He was “banned” from entering the US and no reason was given. Can anyone shed any light on what can be done? Thank you.

I have about 20 files or more in my rotation at a time. I work on various types of cases at once. Some are simple, others are extensive. I feel like it’s very unstructured and one of the managers micromanages. It’s like every man for himself. Take home pay is $50k. I am working on my bachelors deg. Do I get paid enough?

I got my h1b extension approved from 6/2022 to 5/2025. But my current stamping on passport for my 1st h1b is until 9/2022. So with the new extension dates is my stamped dated is voided or is the stamping still valid until 9/2022 ?

Do I need a new H1B Stamping? I extended my visa last year (new expiration date: 2024 Summer) and got my visa stamped accordingly. Since then, I changed firms and transferred my visa, which now has a different expiration date (i.e 2024 Winter). I honestly don’t know why the date got longer with just a transfer. Anyway, would I need to get my visa stamped again since the date of current i797-A (winter 2024) is different from my previous i797-A/latest visa stamp?

I am being told I cannot clear a right to work check until my BRP arrives. And because of this I will need to have my start date pushed by two weeks (start date is mid Jan right now, visa approved yesterday and they need the documents by end of week).
