I don’t understand - how do you know they reviewed Sat night if they didn’t send you comments until Mon morning? If comments are non substantive at least they shouldn’t take long to implement. I absolutely hate it when people overpromise to clients, but ignoring that part, it’s not always easy for seniors to review your work instantly as we’re usually working on more matters than the juniors and will have multiple work products to review.

SA1, I’m a recent lateral and don’t know anyone I’d trust well enough to fix it to his preferences. He’s extremely particular.
I did not do a bad job - I’m pretty type A myself and love a nice looking document - he just had particular preference. Which is fine when you communicate to me upfront, not hours before you want to send it to the client, creating a fake fire drill for me.
