Senior Associate with 24MAL at lighthouse - data and analytics consultant - what’s the comp range?

My last working day in TCS is 4th of March, I have rejected the retention offer. My current CTC is 13.31 LPA in TCS YOE: 11.5. Retention offer was 18LPA. Currently I am holding offers with CapeG - 20LPA, TechMahindra - 21.5LPA, HCL - 22.5 LPA.But during my call with HR in TCS regarding retention, the HR when he heard about the companies which I am holding the offers said negative comments about those companies in a deteriorating way. I feel really bad about it 🙁

Curious - what do you gals and guys think is considered good compensation - TC at 40.

Anyone go from consulting to tech? If so, how do you like it? Salary bump?

Google TC evaluation for a TPgM in Bay area for L5: Base - $175k RSU - $190k (4yrs) Annual Bonus - $15% Sign-on - TBD Currently M at B4, on deck for SM promo in July with 14 YoE in cybersecurity, tech, full stack dev, and SaaS. I’m aiming for $275k/equity if I can get there for a TC of 450k - this is based on levels, recent news of Googlers not being happy with salary/TC, and aiming high and meeting somewhere in the middle 🤞🏼 Thoughts on TC? Just made M at Accenture and will make $155k. I have an offer to join McKinsey as a BA for $90k. I do really like my team and projects at Accenture and was able to progress fairly accelerated to M at ACN (so maybe could keep it up for progression to SM?). But also I know how much people value the MBB brand. Thoughts?

Do any of you feel like your parents treat you differently or take advantage of you after you started making a Biglaw salary? This has been my experience. The amount of times I’ve heard “you make a lot of money, you can afford _____ / should do ____with your money” is frustrating. They also broke something in my apartment and didn’t even offer to replace it (I wouldn’t have made them, but an offer would be nice).

Anyone else feel weird that they will likely never make as much as their parents/provide their kids a similar childhood? The odds of making MD/Partner are outright low, and a lot of luck is involved. Statistically it’s likely I’ll fail out around M/SM and peak at that salary forever.
