Senior at Big 4 FDD vs Associate at A&M? Base is higher for my big 4 offer but A&M is higher in terms of total comp because of the bonus and will be compensated way more as I get promoted. Per this sub it seems like A&M is the way to go but wanted to get some thoughts.

Take A&M offer. Senior associates and managers there legit make more than big 4 managers and directors. It’s embarrassing but big 4 has never really addressed the issue and just sits and watches the attrition.

I’d take the A&M offer in your situation. Otherwise, I’d go to big 4 fdd to get trained and then bounce to A&M. Granted, that’s if you want to stay in fdd for more than a few years. A&M will probably work you more and you’ll do more of the “India team” work (since they don’t have that) but you’re going to get paid well.

Definitely take the A&M offer. Titles don’t matter.

You will still learn how to do this things at PwC, India isn't always able to accommodate. We still teach power query and alteryx. But you only need to do it 3-4 times to have it down. This stuff isn't a value add, it's simple busy work that is perfect for offshore. Just my opinion I'd go to PwC for a year then bounce to A&M as a senior

Are you an audit senior transferring?

Yes

Any tips on getting an interview? Was it through a recruiter?

What’s A&M stand for?

Alvarez and Marsal.
