I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?
I received an offer for a Product Designer role in Spotify. However, I applied for a senior role and they downgraded me for a lower level and they promised solid career growth. I'm kinda disappointed and I'm debating if I should take it or not. I have been offered a senior role in another company but the product does

Hello All, one of the renowned market research company is looking for Industry/Senior Industry analyst position. Eligibility: Minium 7 years of experience as a market researcher in Electronics/Semiconductor/sensor domain.
What does it mean when you apply to a bunch of jobs for which I am a good fit and you hear nothing back for these jobs? For some applications, I'm approaching two weeks since submission. I did get a call back to the first position I applied to; however, after the lab manager saw how much experience I had he said to release me, far too overqualified, tell him he should be applying to Senior Research Associate positions. I have ten years lab experience.
In a bit of a dilemma - I’m currently in a technical role and I’ve just been offered the position of team manager. While I’m excited for the role and learning opportunities it comes with, there is only a 3% hike in salary. I’d be working longer hours and giving up my unionized position, but on the other hand, senior management is supportive and willing to help me succeed. Just wondering how y’all approach this or what you’d recommend.
Just talked to a doordash recruiter for analytics manager role which requires 6+ years work experience. They offered 108k base and 107k equity over 4 years. So that ~130k and it’s much less than what I make. The LinkedIn link says the range in Colorado is 115k-149k base. I live in a big city in Pacific Northwest which is not Seattle. Am I being low balled?
So I’ve submitted a resume for referral and the status says “yes” for actively being considered. What happens next? How long should it take for a recruiter to reach out to my referral?
I am looking for a referral for Consulting positions (Product, Analytics, Business). Open to companies. Any leads would be appreciated.
In the running for an in-house position. Pay is more than I get now, but the title is a step down. I know it’s petty, but it’s tough to think about.
Has anyone seen someone in big4 M&A tax switch to a generalist consulting role at T2/MBB? Not expecting tenure to transfer. People at the ~consultant level have said it’s basically an impossible switch, so I’m looking to see if PPMDs share that sentiment.
Anyone go from litigation in-house to in-house corporate? I'm in-house litigation now, but I realize that those roles are harder to come by, and so wondering if I should get ahead of myself sooner rather than later and jump to corporate to expand my skill set and set up for more exit opportunities in the future. 10 YOE in Lit.
Heya!!! I’m interviewing next week for a Sr Account Manager role @ a digital mkt agency.
The interviewer asked me to send in my salary expectation before we talk. This is a little bit challenging to me. Talk numbers.
The position ask for at least 4 years experience. I have 6.
I want to ask for a fair amount because I do think I can bring much value to the company.
Also don’t want to compromise just because I’m out of work at the moment. Do you guys have a suggestion ? TIA!!!
Any chance pay transparency (like Colorado and NYC have instituted) comes to the DC area / contractor jobs soon? Fed jobs include the level already!
Would it be possible to work as a part-time real estate agent while working in Big 4 audit/consulting? I know this would leave basically no free time, but the busy season for real estate is summer so it ovule stagger with the audit busy season. Is this doable or would it be too much? What good, and bad comes out of corporate lobbying in the US?
I've seen how it can shape some policies at a a federal level, but haven't done much research at the lower levels. All input is welcome. 🙂
I just got a job offer from Chase for an expansion branch as a relationship banker. 50K base with $1500 guaranteed commission for the first year. Is this on par or could I get a bit more with a counter? 7 years military leadership experience, 7 years sales experience , and 2 semester away from completing my MBA. Any information would be appreciated.
As the title suggests, I started the last 2 companies I've worked at, covering the last 8 years of my professional experience. I've found that recruiters often look at my "founder" title more like "self-employed." There's only so much an application can say. My first company was a successful software consultancy that employed 15+ and the second was acquired by a private corporation in construction, but I can't get an interview. What can I do? Take an entry-level role? Take classes?
Looking to move to San Antonio and we're looking at places in Alta Vista and El Dorado. Pros and cons? We have two kids under five, so looking for a nice family community with good schools.
SO and I (no kids) will be moving to Bay Area in early 2020 with a car. Both will be working in the Palo Alto / Mountain View Area. Better to just live where we work or possible to commute from SF?
I have an EdTech client looking to hire a lead designer. They're looking for someone with 5+ years experience and background in either early education or consumer mobile apps. Fully remote (US company). Great team. DM for details.
If anyone's interested, Collective (fintech startup) has remote openings for a lead / mid-weight product designers, a graphic designer.
I personally do not work there, but would be happy to pass any books along!
Will these recent layoffs from big tech companies affect those on the East Coast? Considering that Amazon and Meta’s HQ’s are on the West Coast, will this impact the job market on the East Coast or not? Thanks!
