Damn I need to change jobs…
I wish haha but go get what you're worth. At my previous data analyst role I was making about 60k less and during my annual review my manager told me to my face that's what I was worth and they're just now starting to get value out of me. Glad my 1 year there didn't provide you value. But I'm 10x happier now, feel valued, and again got a massive raise. So see what's out there and get what you deserve
330k
For a sr. analyst position 130 sounds about right to start, though I wouldn't be shocked to see a range go up to 150 as you gain more experience. If your duties include more data science type work (forecasting, modeling etc) then 130 would be low for a senior role. I'd expect a starting salary there closer to 150 with a pretty wide range up to almost 200.
Sr data analyst here. With bonus I'm around 140k. But yeah base salary is like 125
Been doing a good amount of interviewing lately for senior roles and $120k - $140k has been the range.
I make a little over $150k in base salary as a Sr. Data Analyst. Although my pay is probably higher than my colleagues because I had an offer from another company that my current employer beat. I love my current job so it wasn’t like I was intending to leave a bad situation.
I also had leverage since my manager was leaving and the only other analyst on the team was hired less than 3 months ago whereas I had been at the company for about 1.5 years
Lol, I’m at 130 w a F500 as a Sr DS working remote from HCOL city (not ny of sf). Congrats.
Thanks!
I'm getting around 110k, but I was formerly a SME in the industry I'm working in so they are getting much more than my data skill set. I've mastered excel and am decent at SQL and PowerBi. (That's what we use.) Beginner using Python, R, Looker and Tableau. About 5% bonus EoY on top of that.
(Title is data analyst, but very flat department structure so I'm not sure title is reliable.)
How many yoe?
130k is what I’m making for sr dev ops I think you are in the ball park
