Senior Recruiters - I've been getting recruited for a very senior recruiting role by a company whose internal model works like an agency. Comp is comprised of a base, plus commission on your hires. I'm not totally sure how I feel about this. Have any of you ever worked on this model as an internal recruiter? It seems like there could be a solid potential upside, but that it also could create a ton of stress. Anybody have any insights into this?

I have my MSHRM; which I got before I started working in HR, and a PHR but with this new HRM role I'm thinking of getting an HR Certification in Strategic Management. It is very costly. Has anyone taken any of these Certification programs? Is it worth it?

I’d like to work for the FBI either as a Special Agent or Professional Staff as a Forensic Accountant. I am currently a Senior Forensic Accountant at a public accounting firm but we mainly handle commercial damage calculations, business valuations, and SOME investigations that one might think of as “was there fraud? We’re not sure, please Mr. Forensic Accountant can you take a look at our QBs?”
Question: is this experience preferable to the FBI? Or do they prefer the AML professionals? CPA + CFE

I had an interview last week with the hiring manager and he told me that they will get back to me if I proceed to the next round early this week. I emailed him but he said his ppl/the HR will reach out to me to update on the progress next week. Is that a bad sign? I felt the convo went well with him but idk why he’s not telling me if I proceed or not himself.

I received a take home case study for a strategic finance position. They gave me historical statements for the last 3 years (quarterly) and asked for insights/observations and opportunities/trends. What should I be observing here? I’m used to just modeling exams but I’m not sure how to proceed here. They didn’t give industry but this looks like retail store financials when they are a software company....
