Seniors who left recently, what % raise did you get? I'm an S2, so I still have a while to go. I have a call with a recruiter this week and was going to tell her I want a 20% raise for my next role.

First thing I would not leave unless 20% raise but I would tell the recruiter that an offer has to be for at least 20% more than what I making for me to co wider about it. This gives you some cushion and you can ask for more if there is a good fit.

Never understood the people that say they got 20-50% increases when exiting PA. 20% is realistic but 50% is very inflated and hard to come by. With roughly 3 years of experience as an S2, you won’t get that high of an increase, 20% at most if you count base plus bonus and maybe stock options.

I am leaving as a senior 2 going from $67k to $102k base salary. Busy season usually consists of work to 7 p.m. on weekdays and no weekends. I get a a 10% to 20% cash bonus and 20% to 30% stock compensation annually, 6% 401(k) match, better health insurance, and same PTO days as EY.

I am mostly leaving so that I will have more free time and more opportunities when it comes to swing trading.

like

GT1, that’s my S1 salary in tax.

I got offered 25% increase. I know ppl even get 25-50% increase too but I would consider 20% minimum “base” increase as mentioned above by tax associate 1.

33%

20% raise is not worth moving for. One generally gets 25% return by staying in the company. I got an offer of 35% (94-125k) raise on base as a Sr 2 and I said no. You should not look at percentage hike, you should ask for a number that you like. If your base is low, (like mine) percentages mean nothing.

20% is not bad. Generally, anything above 20% is good luck. It gets more tougher as you keep moving up the ladder at firm

Does the addition of “(level) II” make a difference to anybody? I am the only marketing communications specialist for a lead child-welfare nonprofit. We oversee four counties in two circuits. Director recently gave me add’l merit-based raise (after my annual raise, been here 14 months) & slight title change to Marketing Comm Specialist II. No plans to add a level 1 (would be lower) specialist but will add level 1 engagement specialist to team. Should I update resume/cards or is this confusing?

Crying for my RSUs….started at my company about 6 months ago and got some RSUs split over 3 years. Turns out the stock price at time of my hiring (which is what was used to calculate the number of shares over the three years) was the highest it’s ever been. Stock price has been cut in half since then, along with my RSU value. 😭 how do I cope?

Looking for advice - what do you think is the most effective and lowest risk way to ask for a raise/retention bonus? Context: 1.5 year tenure in the company and current team, extraordinary performance and point of reference for the team and group leader, not looking to leave current company so do not want to bring to the table other offers but know from verbal offers from other companies that if I move I would get a title and pay bump ~20% base, ~50% TC.

Hi everyone. I’m new here but I think I’ll get a lot of really good feedback. I work in government procurement. I worked remote during the pandemic and now my manager cannot see his way to letting us work from home. Our department is the only one in the organization that is in the office all the time. It is really hurting morale and, personally, making me look for something different. What is everyone’s experience with old school management? Thank you!

Anyone else feels like marriage has become complex matter now.
Most of the good people i am aware of are single.
We are too busy to get into touch with different people to have the love happen. So love marriage is not a scope.
And the way arrange marriage happens it is not working. Like they ask for package directly and it shows their priority. If we think practically money may matter but it should not be the first and only priority. And such thinking made us reject a proposal.
