I’m an owner and I run a deal where I pay 70%. I require an even split of all office/marketing expenses if they are in my office which is the OSJ. If they want a satellite they still get 70% but are on the hook for all expenses. I strive to create an environment where everyone is happy so the choice is theirs. I cover supervision and my value add is helping with transition, set up and continued support.

i like the thought out long term track. nice

#SAP senior tech consultant vs #Snowflake SQL cloud support engineer?

Base/bonus are about the same. SAP has RSUs but not with the offer. Snowflake has RSU as part of the offer (not sure how much yet though). Both within a growing team with great potential, visibility, and impact.

SAP would be more sales support & client interactions more mplementation & sales engineering.
Snowflake would he dealing with tickets. Quarterly reviews with "quotas" and metrics. Weekend/holiday rotation as well.

I need to terminate a direct report due to significant performance issues and his difficulty of working with others. He’s well aware of the issues so this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. However, I am concerned about how he will react based on his personality and his combative nature. I’ve never had to terminate anyone before and I didn’t hire the guy but he reports to me. Any advice?

Team Financial Planning Specialist or no?
My team is growing more and more to specializations with investment products. (Insurance, alts, ESG) I’ve been wondering if the Financial Planning role could also be a specialist in our client experience. We have two competing ideas; A financial planning specialist would be able to develop intimate familiarity with the planning software, processes, and human nuances. But would a newclient feel 'bait&switched’ to be handed off for this important process?

Opening for a advisor to join an existing vertical team in Columbia SC.

Hi everyone, need some advice.
A local b d / ria has an opening for an Advisor. We provide the leads in the form of current abandoned brokerage clients and the advisor just needs to build relationships and grow the business.
In addition he/she would have the opportunity to build and lead a team of other advisors.
For a candidate with 12+ years of experience what would be an appropriate compensation structure (base plus commission %)
Thank you in advance for your help.
