I will be graduating this Fall, currently interning for TI as a Product Marketing Engineer; I will most likely accept an offer for their Technical Sales Representative 9month rotation program. The pay seems great ($113k base&bonus + 115% - 250% Payout) after finishing the rotation program. I enjoy the Sales Engineer role and think TI is a great company. Is it worth it to still apply to other companies this Fall recruiting season? (I want to be in San Francisco and possibly NYC.)
Deloitte 🐠 Could someone give me an idea of comp for a manager salary in system integration practice? Range is fine. Philly region.
What $ to expect for 1st year Senior Salary in Core Assurance (asset management audit) located in Boston?
Is it weird that minutes after getting an offer from a Big 4, the office managing partner is inviting you out for coffee and top golf? I hadn’t even read the offer letter yet 🤣 Are audit seniors needed this badly?
What firms share salary bands?
Do they negotiate salary ?? I just had a salary discussion with HR and trust me I can’t say it was a discussion. Guy was pretty rude!! I don’t know I should join or not !! PwC sdc
How many big 4 people are done busy season right now for audit? Started getting asked to work 80 hour weeks which is why I didn't go big 4. Thinking about switching if it stays this way.
Currently in NYC, considering another Sr.CW opportunity in Chicago. What’s a realistic salary range?
Been offered a job in-house. For a tech brand. Could go from a MW salary to an ACD salary overnight. Marketers are all ex-agency, have big ambitions for the work. They have brand partners so briefs wouldn’t all be for 1 brand. Is it worth it this early on in my career? I’d also get stock options on top of huge salary increase.
I need some input from experienced people. New technology consultant here (UK based), which competency has the most promising future (salary&progression): data and analytics, SAP, oracle, salesforce..
I'm 25. Working as Global Mobility Compensation Consultant 1 with Deloitte. Having better than average skills. PGDM from a Tier 3 College (The Worst Part). Making 6.2 LPA (Fix + Variable). Am I Doing bad or very bad in terms of money? Also I'm thinking of a switch "Only Because of the money that I make." Is it worth it? Also where should I look for opportunities?
MD or MBA? I got into both. I know most will say choose the MD, but hear me out: MD: I'd have to go into a specialty to have a good IRR given my salary & the $200K+ debt. By the time I'd be done with residency the US may be in a single payer system. US doctors make 3x the amount in France and 2x vs UK.. I currently make what a doctor makes in France. That could be the future here, too. MBA: 1 yr. Europe. I'd make about 15-20% more vs. now.
What laptops does your firm use? Specifically KPMG and other big 4. Is everyone using Lenovos?
Advanced analytics manager position comp range at PWC? I’m at $120k base rn as a C at Accenture
How difficult will it be to switch to the commercial consulting practice of another Big 4 firm coming from Deloitte’s Federal consulting practice?
What would be monthly inhand salary for 6lpa in Deloitte. and how much tax will be deducted from 1 Lakh joining bonus?
What consulting firms have Talent Management generalist consulting positions? I know the Big 4 firms have generalist models but none of them are known for TM specifically imo.
Is there a virtual training/zoom sessions that people use for getting certified in AWS, Salesforce Java etc.? I am aware of books, materials and websites like trailhead... but looking for one on one or group training through virtual sessions.

I just cleared my AWS Cloud Practitioner exam and am curious whether I should pursue Solutions Architect Associate and/or Developer Associate certificate next. My plan is to get about 7 certificates in the areas that interest me, even though they are not needed for my role. Have you gotten both? Any recommendation to which to pursue first?
Any advice for those really struggling with motivation and tiredness? I’m split across three modules and feel constantly tired and unproductive. With WFH I’ve got into a bad habit of taking naps during the day, and trying to cram the work in the evening, which is somewhat okay for getting through the day-to-day, but I feel like it will all come crashing down soon, plus it leaves no time to do anything I enjoy.
Any tips for first round interview with recruiters? What kind of questions I should expect? What questions should I ask them? How to go about talking about salaries? Thank you in advance
Have any night owls (1-2am sleep) been successful transitioning to early risers (6-7am awake)? Any benefits or drawbacks? How have you done it?
I got a call from my almost 3 year olds school saying that my son has been crying for me a lot. Also at bed time, he begs to sleep with me. Once we get him into his bed, he typically screams I want you mommy for 20 minutes till he falls asleep. This breaks my heart so I’ve been cuddling with him but the problem is that will last till 9pm and I have stuff I need to do. He pretends to be sick to avoid school but tells me he likes school but would rather stay home with me. He goes daily from 830-5
Tell me I’m not the only one finding it SO hard settling into a new job that’s completely remote, within a pandemic? It’s been 5 months and I’m struggling so bad.
Curious what Admissions would think about a gap in work experience? I would love to leave b4 and spend full time studying for GMAT/ searching for a new job w better wlb. Insight/input much appreciated.
Does anyone else ever feel like Deloitte is a cult? Just took some PTO and as much as I like it here, I'm starting to wonder if I am submitting to some cult and whether I should be concerned
Post MBA goal is MBB/Tier 2 consulting firms in NYC or NJ. What schools (other than HSW) should I be targeting?
