Who actually still requires a resignation letter?

like

Not to be the guy that says google, but if you google a top business schools name and "resignation letter template", you can generally find one through that schools career center website. They tend to have good examples/templates.

Just google... it's not really too important just a checkbox item

Formality if anything.

^Already did. Now it's the actual letter.

like

I had to give a generic letter when I left my prior firm. It's more of an HR formality

I didn't give a letter. Hmmm

When leading a team through a reasonably large process change (e.g. changing from non existent to… something), is it a better idea to adopt a Big Bang approach (huge change, but all at once) or through smaller iterative changes (over many months)? What are the pros / cons of either approach? And any suggestions for dimensions to keep in mind when deciding?

I recently started at a larger software company as an AE. As I’m getting more into the process, I’m finding things odd. Like, cold calls and emails are metrics I’m judged on more than closed won business. I know that’s part of the job but it seems strange I’m judged on it so heavily. And, I seem to be the first real outside AE hire as everyone else seems to have been promoted up from SDR roles, including all of my direct management. I’m questioning if I made the right move. Stick it out or look?

Been getting huge waves of not wanting to work because I know I’m only in it for the money. Except that doesn’t even feel worth it anymore. Just started a new project that isn’t interesting, but is chargeable. Need some advice from fellow fishes. Oh, to add on, I had a vacation planned for Santorini earlier in April, but was cancelled due to COVID. 😭
