I don’t know how I’d be able to focus on a race after a threat like this, so shameful https://www.google.com/amp/s/firstsportz.com/formula-one-saudi-arabia-gp-fire-marshall-removed-after-outrageous-agenda-to-hurt-lewis-hamilton-i-hope-he-has-an-accident-like-roman-accident/%3Futm_source%3Ddlvr.it%26utm_medium%3Dtwitter%26amp

I skipped a period for the first time after switching to wfh when the pandemic hit but have never skipped multiple months. Please get your hormones checked! Fingers crossed you are healthy

When your body is under physiological stress (can be due to anything ranging from excessive working out to lifestyle stress), it prioritizes necessary bodily functions and pulls energy from things you don't need to be alive (your reproductive system, and thereby your menstrual cycle).
Given this is not a one off but a pattern, would highly recommend reaching out to your primary care physician and getting your hormone levels, iron, thyroid, etc checked. If they're dismissive, find another doctor or endocrinologist.
In general, the "natural" way to encourage your period would be to focus on reducing stress and eating super clean (nutrient dense food). After that, vitamin supplementation for nutrient deficiencies. After that, prescription medications that can help with inducing or regulating your cycle. Also, acupuncture can be helpful too for regulating hormones and promoting optimal blood flow.
I was an athlete in college and had a few years when I maybe got my period 2-3 times all year. I chalk that up to the amount of physical activity I was doing at the time, but I believe major life changes can have a similar effect. Doesn’t hurt to consult a doctor, though
I regularly skip multiple months. For me it’s always when I’m most depressed or the most stressed. I’ve brought it up to my doctor and she checked to make sure I wasnt pregnant and then told me it’s normal and happens a lot!
Yes, when I started college and also when I lost some weight. And the stress of not getting it led me to continue not getting it. But agreed that a doctor visit and potentially a blood test to check hormones in a good idea
I just got my period today after 2 months. I’m usually pretty regular, around 38 day cycles. I think the stress at work in combo with the pandemic makes the whole situation worse.
Same here!
I had some issues with my ovaries, where I skipped a couple of months. After getting married I got on birth control, and that regulated my periods.
I skipped 3 months when stressed I was pregnant (I was not). I later found out I had a thyroid issue which could have also contributed though so I'd get your blood work done.
Thank you all! Calling the doctor tomorrow :)
