I could work from home for the rest of my life and be fine. I love the extra family time. Love the cooking. Love the camaraderie. I know I’m alone in this though
Pro
I’m with ya!!!
Can’t wait, going crazy at home
What about having to get dressed every day, make the commute, pay for gas and the reality of higher productivity expectations
Better sleep, less stress, no time consuming travel, more family time, more sport, easier doctor and other appointments...
I don’t see why I would ever willingly travel more for business than absolutely necessary ...

I don’t want to especially knowing I could get infected any time :(

If it worked like flu that we should accept then we wouldn’t be in lockdown.....
If social distancing is followed, OK - but since many people at the office use public transportation, we’re doomed anyway

Exactly, if they try to Social distance public transport it’ll be a nightmare getting into work and getting home!! All for what, to show face in the office?!
I love wfh. And I honestly think I’m way more productive at home. My team has way too many unnecessary meetings. I also don’t feel guilty walking around the block for fresh air and I don’t have to listen to a couple of people who demand I give them attention every 2 hours
I want to stay home and never go into any office ever again. EY should sell their buildings.
Pro
I’m not afraid of the office I’m afraid of the trains. That’s the only way I can get to work

I think EY (and big four accounting in general) did an incredible job of seamlessly moving hundreds of thousands of employees to WFH almost instantly. We probably had a head start as most people WFH anyway late at night or on weekends so were mostly set up already, but still I was incredibly impressed with the seamless transition of it.
Unfortunately in that process, I think most everyone realizes there is really no need to be in an office, and sure as hell not elbow to elbow in open plan floors spaces. It’s going to be tough to get everyone back in the office I’m afraid 🤷🏼♂️
Full disclosure, I’m all for it. I’ve never seen our teams happier and more friendly than now so I vote never returning to the office.
I absolutely agree. Inevitably though, many people will head back to an office. For them, the reentry May be painful. I’m concerned many companies that did an amazing job preparing for WFH might not be ready for the resistance that comes when they try to bring their people back, even if it is at a slow pace.
