Serious question, does commercial M&A experience help someone transition to PE?

What are people’s experiences or thoughts on a recently promoted manager in MTS making a move to industry, possibly one of the FAANG companies as a manager? Possible or a pipe dream?

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. Performance reviews coming at the end of the this year and I’m wondering 1) if my salary is on par with what I should expect 2) how to approach conversations about raises and promotion with my supervisor. I had joined Accenture in the month of February and assigned to project on the same month. But In project they are not ready to provide the development user stories and only supporting user stories are assigned, but due to the above behaviour I was like totally depressed as I don't like the supporting work(documentation stuffs). I am a fp&a manager at Dufry Group making 120k P.a. is it good enough for this position? Or should I look for better opportunities?

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? Them: MM PE buyout fund, no specific industry focus. Most recent fund $2.5B+, AUM $5B+

Role: VP of Operations, joining an Ops team that will be ~10 people total top to bottom

Offer: $200 base, $150 bonus, and ‘carry’ that is actually just a deal performance-based cash payment that is awarded to non-carry individuals (cont)

I’m 2 YOE, trying to break into CRE. I just had my second interview with the EVP AND SVP of Asset & Portfolio Management a Healthcare Private Reit for a PM/AM Analyst position. They told me everything went great in my interviews, but they want me to interview with others at the firm and to provide them with references before they make a decision. The problem is the pay range is $60-65k, while I’m currently making 73.5k as a fs consultant at low end of the pay band. Is the opportunity sensible?
