Hi people. I have availed enhanced health insurance coverage offered by EY GDS.

Some amount was cut under 'Insurance Deduction' in April and nothing in May and June. In July and August, they have deducted amount under 'Insurance Topup Deduction' and some amount under 'Insurance Deduction Others' with no explanation whatsoever! No tax exemption is also provided for senior citizens.

Before interviewing for an entry level role at a well known agency, the recruiter mentioned the salary in case it is a non-starter.

It’s 10% lower than current TC… is there usually wiggle room here?

When is it appropriate to follow up with a recruiter after a verbal offer? I received a call on Tuesday with the verbal offer, and they said they’d start things on Wednesday. No real timeline aside from that, and I didn’t ask.

Excluding agencies like W+K, BBDO, Droga..., why do recruiters and CDs ask questions like “what’s your goal as a human in life?” or “how would you change the world?” when they KNOW they just need an average creative, to make more average campaigns for average clients?

Recently been approached about joining a startup agency. Never been in this situation before. Any advice on questions I should ask, red flags I should look for, etc.?

Context: I've been at my agency for over three years (five and half years total since I'm a boomerang), leading the strategy team for a high growth and high pride account for two of those years. My agency has generously increased my salary by $4k last year and gave me spot bonuses totalling $6k to recognize my hard work, but I'm still on the lower end of the salary range for my title (under $130k) and not matching the rate of inflation for NYC. My question continues in the comments.
