[Serious] What are the possible problems of working at two tax firms for a few months, besides the amount of hours? Any legal ones? Clawing back salary?

So the Design Lead on my team just left the company, and I have been offered her job. The thing is that it's been about a week and a half since this happened and there has not been any official documentation on role change or compensation. I'm wondering if this is normal? Do you usually get a new offer letter or something? Because it makes no sense for me to take on more responsibility above my pay grade without a new title and a significant pay bump. Any advice on what I should do?

Dumb question but what makes up total compensation? Obviously salary, but bonus is so variable it seems difficult to add and RSUs usually are given out over a beating period so in theory are finite (ex. only given for four years)

Have seen comp for NACR (restructuring) listed at around 150-200 for analysts, 200-275 for associates, and one mention of senior associates at 375k. Supposedly NACR gets crushed in terms of hours. But i've also read that targets are around 2000 hours per year? Something doesn't add up.....e.g. Associate $550/hr * 25% cap rate * 2000 billable hrs = $275k.......but 2000 hours is slightly over 40 hours a week (including 4 weeks vacay), not the 80 hr/week. So is there a ton of time on vacation?
