I have cleared the first round of the interview with Seimens and my second round is next week. This first one was an online technical round and the second one is a face to face interview on site for which they have asked me to fly down to Bangalore (cost reimbursed). The HR said that there are only two rounds.
I felt that my first round didn't go so well but they still called me for a second. What should I expect from this?Siemens

I received an invite for an interview and I’m very excited. For reference I am a SAE with Indeed so I hope that if chosen, the transition will be simple.

What type of company?
Tech companies are really dialing back hiring and laying off a lot of recruiters. The person who reached out may have lost their job and the job they had for you could have been canceled.
It’s a health tech company. That is true. I didn’t think of the hiring freezes that are going on.
Probably on a hiring freeze
Better that than they should continue with the interview anyway, no?
For me, one of the biggest problems with the recruiting process, from a candidate perspective, is that it's so opaque. You have no good idea about what the budget is, what realistic timelines might be, how many folks you're competing against or what their backgrounds or compensation/location requirements may be, or even sometimes how many positions are open (not to mention positions that might not be advertised)
Not that I necessarily expect an employer to reveal this and give up their competitive advantages either, I guess. Makes it frustrating to search for a job sometimes though
Yes definitely agree!
Companies have to keep their hiring pipeline full until they make their decision. You should do that too as a candidate. That way a single rejection won’t throw you off your game.
