I feel that former employer might have slandered my reputation. Almost a year ago, I had accepted a physical therapist position with the VA and all was going well until I get a call from their HR department saying that they had to rescind the offer due to something that came up in my background. Never been arrested or have any legal complaints filed against me. VA said I’d have to file a FOIA request. Which meant all the info was blacked out when I got the info I requested. What do I do?????

Everyone says we need to find "a cure for cancer" and YES, definitely, but there are so many different types that we need at least 50 separate cures. More complex than people give it credit for. What does everyone here think?

I've struggled with taking meds. I never understood the concept of "take your meds even if you feel good."

My blood pressure has started going through the roof, making me even more stressed than before. No risk factors for underlying heart disease though, so doctor told me to double down on exercise and work less. When I said my job requires me to work a lot, he told me to get a new job if I couldn’t relax.

There seems to be a general disdain for big law, investment banking and consulting among a lot of doctors…

Post egg retrieval, and my doctor says my thyroid levels are a bit high for what he wants to see for FET, so he has me on medicine to lower it before it’s time for FET. Has anyone else experienced this? Was it caused by all the IVF shots? Will this be a long term issue?

Hey need some advice. I got diagnosed bipolar and can’t take stimulants. The diagnosis is being challenged and I got a second opinion it’s ADHD. Makes sense, all my family has it. Doctor won’t give me stimulants that work better. What do i do? Seeing other doctors is a 6 month long wait.

Hi everyone, first fishbowl post here :) I’m currently 4W4D pregnant! I’m excited but also very anxious. I had a miscarriage first time I got pregnant last June and a chemical pregnancy in Jan. I REALLY want this to work and need to obviously keep my stress and anxiety in check. I read everything there is to read on what to do/not do/eat/not eat… My previous experiences have removed any kind of “innocent excitement” I had. Does it ever come back?

I’m so sad. I’m 5 weeks, 4 days into my first pregnancy and started bleeding yesterday morning. Went to my OBGYN and said it’s very possible this is a miscarriage, however, my cervix was still closed at the time. I’m 29 and have no family history of miscarriages or abnormalities. HSG pain level vs. endometrial biopsy? I have an HSG this week and did biopsy last week. Biopsy was brutal! I overheard a nurse telling someone else that HSG is actually more painful but I can’t even imagine… really nervous now.
