Hi. I'm currently in EY, YOE 9.5, CCTC 14 LPA fixed.. working on an offer from SocGen for 24 LPA.. should I ask more? What is the standard fixed CTC for 10 YOE at SocGen? Process Transformation Consulting.. Does SocGen provide joining bonus? I'm going to forfeit roughly 3.5 lacs worth of bonus this year to move.. need to know whether I can ask for JB. What is the standard variable pay at SocGen? Is it 25%? Or 8.3%? Permanent WFH options available? If so, are they mentioned in the offer letter

What’s some consulting jargon to say when you don’t have all of the answers? The best I’ve hear is “that’s a larger conversation that we have time for, let’s take that offline”.

SHELL: 21 fixed + 3 lakh variable Role: Product Analyst Please help me choose the company. The parameters I'm looking for are good work life balance and growth opportunities. Current CTC 18 fixed. YOE is 4 years. MBA from Tier 1 college.

Have seen comp for NACR (restructuring) listed at around 150-200 for analysts, 200-275 for associates, and one mention of senior associates at 375k. Supposedly NACR gets crushed in terms of hours. But i've also read that targets are around 2000 hours per year? Something doesn't add up.....e.g. Associate $550/hr * 25% cap rate * 2000 billable hrs = $275k.......but 2000 hours is slightly over 40 hours a week (including 4 weeks vacay), not the 80 hr/week. So is there a ton of time on vacation?

Any recommendations on how to mentally approach the marathon that is paying down a mountain of debt while wanting to take advantage of investing and the time value of money? Feeling overwhelmed 😔
