Wasn’t it already a known fact in 2016 that DJT didn’t pay any taxes? He openly admitted to it by saying it makes him “smart”. I don’t get all the hype about this in here the last 30 minutes.
Hi all - wondering how to initiate letting work know I’m pregnant. Is it normal to go through HR? Or engagement team? Do people outside of the engagement team and staffer need to know?
Bored waiting for my flight. What’s the most exciting or dramatic thing that happened on your project this week?
Does it make sense to hire an executive career coach? So, I want to move on and find another job, also I would rather move to California or NY, I’m in MA now. My problem is that I’ve been with my current employer for 7 years, and they transferred me from Europe 5 years ago. I’m in my first VP job, and I got promoted from the inside. So my network is not really that big, it’s largest part consists of our employees, and I don’t have very deep connections in the HR community yet.
Company allows cashing out of paid time off. What’s everyone’s thoughts on cashing out now with everything that’s going on? It’s subject to a federal withholding tax.
Whole family was laid off work so I’m the only one working right now. Really demoralizing. Crazy times
is a person living in the US on H1b visa allowed to open a brokerage account with Vanguard? Do we select resident alien as the status based on tax purposes while opening the account? Thank you
Has anyone stayed at st Regis Bali? Ia it really as good as the reviews make it out to be? Seems like it is next to a bunch of hotels so doesn't seem too private
Does anyone use a “career coach” not necessarily a head hunter but someone who helps you get thinking. This is potential end goals, these are steps to take in your career, these are where your interests lie, this would be a good fit you see the idea. The other side of helping find the job, negotiating salary and other services would be the nice to have but I’m looking more for the coach. If you have used them what’s your experience? Worth the cost?
I recently interviewed for a job and they said they have more interviews and will let me know when the decision is made. It has been 2 weeks now. Is it safe to say they took a pass? Do you think it’s too soon to reach out and see what’s going on?

Long story short: I work for a small healthcare consulting firm. Since COVID, I was going to the office once a week, every Wednesday. Today, I have put on my 2 weeks because I accepted an offer from a big 4. During my last 2 weeks, I had planned to see my family for the first week, and go to the office on my final week. Also today, my boss asks me to come in the office everyday next week. Should I say I don’t feel comfortable and just don’t go?What’s the worst it happen? Get fired lol
