Here's one from my current one - make sure you always review your work very carefully, especially if it's going to the client directly and you're the last person it goes to before it goes to the client. Always assume there are errors.

Lesson... CYA = cover your ass. Meaning, document well and thoroughly. Send summary emails of important mtgs/discussions. Double and triple check grammar, spelling, and the spelling of people's names. Before sending detailed emails or deliverables, draft them and take a break before reviewing or have someone else review. And speak up when you can't take on anymore work. I'm learning to either day no or continue being the one that's overwhelmed and dejected.

This is going to sound nuts. But, based on the close, here is the tip. LESSON: Check out where we closed on Friday and where we closed today. Same spot. Tip: Markets don't like to create a significant low or high on a Friday afternoons or Mondays. Very often they will trade their previous setup on Tuesday . . . Meaning, this sustained bullish trend can take us up to 3111.25 on a HWB Short or 3139.50 61.8% without blinking an eye. It's like the dip into lows never existed.

What are your philosophies on budgeting and spending money on fitness hobbies? I think this is one aspect that I underestimated the cost of when moving to NYC. I love figure skating and Pilates, but it can be over $30/session for rink/studio access and over $100 per lesson with an instructor.

Ladies I have a tutor to learn a second language and my tutor is late to every lesson. Not by a few minutes but at least 20-30minutes. I'm hesitant to find a new teacher and find new books, teaching style and so on, and I've mentioned I need to start on time but don't think she understands that this is bad etiquette. I don't think this is a cultural difference. I simply don't understand. How do you address someone who is always late and does not feel the need to fix it?!

Apparently some states are wanting teachers to post online all the curriculum materials they are using & their lessons plans. It is for transparency. I have no problem posting all of that online. But it does open up opportunities for our lessons & materials to be scrutinized out of context. I truly believe it’s another way to undermine teachers. It allows people who know nothing about teaching to tell us how to do our job. This all started with CRT phobia.

Need advice- How do I make my LinkedIn profile more attractive to recruiters from FAANG or MBB apart from listing the relevant experience? It seems like all recruiters that are reaching out lately, are from small firms and for jobs with lower compensation than my current position. Recently had my technical coding interview - overall didn’t feel amazing about it, my interviewer kept misunderstanding and mis-answering my exploratory questions about the problem. Not sure when I will hear back, but I doubt it will be a positive. I know I’d be able to slam any of the later rounds out of the park (previous experience and achievements, questions around advanced ML theory, etc), is there an ability to progress through the rounds even if the coding section wasn’t up to par?
