Are pay cuts when you exit to industry normal here in London? Looking at an internal strategy role and it’s a 10% decrease in my base salary with no bonus in the first year. Will probably breakeven on a per hour basis but still, wondering what’s the norm?

Was told I was one of a few final candidates for a role, and that they were going to be ready to make a “very hard decision” by the end of last week. Have not heard anything. Safe to assume they made an offer and I’m just being put on hold until that person accepts or declines? Worth reaching out to the recruiter or pointless at this point?

Now, I want to switch as my pay(16lpa) is very less as compare to people posting here. Hi all , need a suggestion. I am currently getting an offer of 40 lpa in India with one of the FAANG companies . The role is not in a fancy team and is okayish.

My company has promised me a transfer to KL Malaysia with a salary of 2,40,000 MYR (~43 lpa) but since I am in consulting , my options would remain open in terms of exit and this can open up South East Asia market for me.

I currently have an offer from both IBM and TCS for database developer role. IBM's package is a slightly less than what TCS has offered.
