There’s some considerations: I’m a registered lobbyist (so I consult and directly lobby), do not have a JD, have 2.5 years experience working in Big Law as a non lawyer lobbyist, and am looking at a range of companies (Pfizer, Genentech, Regeneron). People realize the recession is only just starting right? So far we have only had a few rate rises, with many more to come. Stocks are down a little, but only just barely into bear territory. Major companies will be reporting large losses soon, but that hasn't happened yet, and the market will react to that.

No major companies have begun large layoffs yet, either, so far we are only seeing a few minor hiring freezes. And of course we haven't seen bankruptcies yet, but they are surely coming.
