Cont... My husband had his ear pierced years ago when it was a thing and has been wearing his diamond stud ever since. He is also a consultant. And now he hates to wear it. And wants me to help him take it off. Of course he chooses to do it now of all the time (May be bored af). Honestly, I hate it too and want to help him before he changes his mind hahaha... but back to my point.
Has anyone had success taking the ear stud off by themselves? It’s the same one he has been wearing since the time he got his ear pierced. Never changed.
I’m not understanding, I don’t mean to be snarky at all but what is the challenge with this? I’d use a cotton swab with either hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol before and after you touch it but other than that it’s just taking off an earring, right?

Is it the screw type stud? That should be easy to take off. I have a piercing on my targus, I frequently change my studs

My daughter just got her ears pierced and they have a flat back, with the front that screws off. That being said, I have no idea how I am actually going to unscrew when it is time to take out
