Trump might just pull a fast one and win this
So WAPO puts an article out last Thursday that said “Igor Danchenko arrested, charged with lying to FBI about information in Steele dossier” and that RussiaGate was built on “exaggerations, rumors, and outright lies…” What I really want to know is… did Trump pee on prostitutes on that hotel bed in 2013 or not… or… was that POLITICAL THEATER!?!? Head scratcher.

Do you support globalism? Why or why not?
God people in this industry have an uncanny ability to be very talented in their specific niche but woefully ignorant about the world at large.
I like when kids as young as 9 worked 18 hour shifts in the mills.
Unions helped push a lot of positive reforms during the end of 19th and early 20th century. Its unfortunate that they are now associated with laziness. Though, with the US so pro big-business, I think there is a place for them to keep big business in check - which has been a losing battle for a long time.
Me too. It’s such a tragedy we went from seven day work weeks to five. Can’t wait for wages to be pushed even lower!
Ever think if we paid people fairly they wouldn't complain about having to pay money to have someone bargain on their behalf? The only reason people complain about Union dues is because they are making sacrifices to pay for them.
A comment like this shows how out of touch you are with the needs of common workers.
The next downturn is going to be brutal.
Pubic sector unions are ridiculous and shouldn’t be allowed to begin with. Why does the same job position pay about 20% more (including retirement and health care benefits) in the public sector than in the private sector? I’d love the opportunity to be able to vote myself a pay raise too!
Maybe because the private sector focuses on maximizing benefits to the business rather than to the people that are the reason the business is successful in the first place? 🤔
The decision wasn’t about whether public sector unions were lawful. The decision was about whether if a Union is required to represent your interests by law should you be required to pay for the costs of such representation?
In a few years, I’m going to miss the days when construction in the US took 10x longer than in the rest of the world and roads are blocked for construction for weeks and yet there isn’t a worker in sight.
I am all cool for the public sector employees. Freeways in CA suck as these people don't work efficiently.
The case was specifically about if public sector non-union employees could be forced to pay for collective bargaining costs, no? I don’t think this case was about private sector unions.
PwC, correct
That’s like saying if the right to free speech were so great, why would anyone let it be taken away. Rights don’t defend themselves
@OW1: Truth. Though they ostensibly cut the funding unions require to operate. I'm sure some people still will pay, but many won't because they need that money in their hand.
I hope unions survive. And I'm sure some will, but many will die - which only benefits the business owners.
Almost no public sector employees are construction workers.
I can't believe we've been out of the gilded age for so long. But I'm glad to be going back. If workers' rights were such a good thing, why would people allow them to be taken away?
This is union way - New York M.T.A.. the most expensive and Shittest service in the entire world

BDO - because politicians use deception and slight of hand. From a worker's rights, healthcare, affordable housing, etc perspective, it doesn't make sense for any blue collar workers to vote GOP (white, black, or otherwise). But they still do - which leads to them voting against their own interests.
Didn’t people in Detroit voted against their own interest? They voted Dem for 60 years and it became the shit hole of this country.
Detroit, BTW, had 49 public service unions. 81% of their revenue went to paying salaries and benefits for public workers.
