I have project manager currently in the job market. I am based in Houston. I do not have a professional finance background (but I plan to take the Buy Side course from Wall Street Prep).

Is there any entry for me in the hedge fund world (especially if I do not want to move to NYC)?

Anyone who has started independent consultancy or agency after quitting consulting?

I’m seeking advise from fishers. My brother in law is going to university next year. He was engineering (which is one of the worse decisions someone can do from my experience LOOL). I told him if anything he should do managment engineering which he got accepted to. He also got accepted to Mcmaster- information management systems. Which in my opinion you get a bit of everything! Conclusion on QRMTE: Met expectations

Is it normal? Shouldn't my progression be mentioned somewhere? My counsellor is out of office for some time and I am getting worried now.

How much do you tip heb grocery delivery drivers? I was tipping 20% of my grocery bill and then someone said that’s a lot considering they do not do the shopping and it is about a 10 min drive. Required your suggestions here..i received a offer letter from HCL with 17 LPA , at that time my salary compensation in current company is 11 lpa, now my current company it self given hike and my compensation now is 13.5 LPA.. shall I ask for negotiation with HCL..since when I accepted the offer they given nice hike, but after compensation it looks less..will HCL increase my compensation after negotiation?
