If we’re taking about historically questionable brands, Personally I’d be more impressed with a brand who didn’t say shit now and in three months when we’ve moved on from this in the news cycle they say something along the lines of “three months ago we realized we have been on the wrong side of things and here are changes we’ve made to start to get better.”
Brands feel like they need to make statement while what they really need to do is take action. The only appropriate role to play is to do something. Everyone knows talk is cheap.
