Should companies start posting salary expectations more often

I have got an offer from Fynd for SDE 1 role.

They have offered me 9 LPA fixed and 1.35 lakh retention bonus split across 2 years.

I have 2 years of non-relevant experience and my current CTC is 5.8 LPA.

Is this a good deal?

Hello, what is the average salary for an insurance claims analyst/resolutions analyst? I am a career paralegal w/8 years experience. The reason I was hired for the role is because of my paralegal and extensive investigation background. Now that I am 4 weeks into the role, I kind of feel like I was low-balled. I do not have any insurance background.

What matters more to you, salary or title? I'm weighing two opportunities... one would be a lateral move in the sense that I'd have the same title, but would definitely be making more money. The other is a better title with more authority, but likely wouldn't be making more money when it comes down to it.

What is the compensation for Data Science Manager role at Scotiabank? A few of my acquaintances who just completed a Masters degree in Canada and did a coop at Scotia are in this role( first role after coop, no prior exp), do I am not sure what to make of it. Know someone earlier in their HR career that’s looking to get certified. It’s been a while since I originally took the exams and have just recertified since. Which is more valuable or preferred these days…PHR or SHRM-CP?

How do you handle getting no support from cross functional peers time and time again but being in HR we are “required” to help them with their issues, however receive little or no support in return?

Are recruiters worth more than L&D specialists? We have a new recuiter that transferred in from another dept. & is already making more than me and has a higher comp range. We have same tenure & they have NO prev. recuiting experience. I should also add I have been helping cover recuiting in interim. I also help cover HR tasks, have my SHRM, 5 years of HR exp., and 2 degrees. Is the "value" for recruiters more than L&D? I feel a little taken advantage of, but want to know if I'm off base here.

I am in the process of finishing up my MBA but considering also getting my SPHR or PHR cert. Is it even worth it or a waste of time and money?

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? I am trying to move to Houston but I don’t want to move until I am confident I can obtain a position in the city before packing up and leaving.

I already have the SHRM-SCP. . would it be a value add to go for the SPHR as well?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.

If an employer told you a bonus was coming your way, but then their boss determined that you were ineligible and no one told you until after the date of payment already passed and you asked where your money was…would you be upset? I was…especially since I had in writing I met metrics, and the amount that was owed. Their boss decided based on the policy language about tenure I was ineligible.

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"
