Should companies start posting salary expectations more often

Yes! It is only a matter of time until everyone will have to. In NYC the law was passed and we will have to post comp. Some states already require it.

Pay transparency is so important. And your internal team already knows what the market is offering, so why not be honest. That's what I say!

I wish GA would get with this. It would be so great to know salary up front rather than playing the guessing game.

I wish they would, it would make things so much easier. I hate when they don't tell you and then everyones time is wasted when you find out it isn't what you thought it would be.

Interesting question! May I ask if you meant companies should include the salary psoting on the hiring ads? If so, I think it would help, and it wouldn't really affect people's interest in the job since it's only a matter of when would they be able to have the disclosure. If this isn't what you meant, is there a particular concern with regard to salary posting?

I have got an offer from Fynd for SDE 1 role.

They have offered me 9 LPA fixed and 1.35 lakh retention bonus split across 2 years.

I have 2 years of non-relevant experience and my current CTC is 5.8 LPA.

Is this a good deal?

Hello, what is the average salary for an insurance claims analyst/resolutions analyst? I am a career paralegal w/8 years experience. The reason I was hired for the role is because of my paralegal and extensive investigation background. Now that I am 4 weeks into the role, I kind of feel like I was low-balled. I do not have any insurance background.

What matters more to you, salary or title? I'm weighing two opportunities... one would be a lateral move in the sense that I'd have the same title, but would definitely be making more money. The other is a better title with more authority, but likely wouldn't be making more money when it comes down to it.

Everyone at my old job told me I was at the top quality-wise, but the partners at the firm all tell me it's going to be 2 years before I'm really confident/comfortable. I'm a 6th year. Is this normal? Having bad imposter syndrome.

I also help cover HR tasks, have my SHRM, 5 years of HR exp., and 2 degrees. Is the "value" for recruiters more than L&D? I feel a little taken advantage of, but want to know if I'm off base here.

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. I've been in PeopleOps (mostly focused on TA Ops) for over 9 years now. I've somehow gotten by without a degree in HR or a certification, but would like to get some more education to continue to advance my career. What are your thoughts on PHR vs SPHR vs SHRM for someone with my years of experience and current role as a manager?

First time poster here!

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I'm testing SPHR in June. Any advice for securing the type of role I'm aiming for?
