Should I be as irritated as I am about this? My small agency is old fashioned. For instance, we only worked remote for the 3 mandated months in 2020. I developed a sore throat yesterday so I thought I should work remote today, to not spread anything contagious. I asked if I could work from home. Boss says: "You're right about not being too careful. I might have to have you take a sick day instead of working though, just because I need to be careful about the precedent." Seriously?

When your company has unlimited sick days but it's taboo for you to even consider taking one 😒🤒
