Should I be concerned if my leader heavily refers to urban Myers leadership styles and quotes? I recently learned more about him and started reading his book because I needed to understand my current work culture better... and it’s not jibing with me.

Our senior creative leadership keep talking about winning Cannes Lions and D&AD pencils but none of them have actually won any since 2007 (that’s 14 years 😭 ) and between all three of them they’ve never won more than a couple of silvers, a couple of bronzes and a couple of in-books (that’s with a combined experience of over 60 years 😭). They have no clue 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭. Tell me something about your agency so that I can feel better about the hell-hole I find myself in🙏

I work at a preschool that redirects disruptive students by giving them a book to calm down and regroup. Do you think this is a good practice or does it ultimately lead the student to see reading as punishment?
