Depends on how much they pay you vs a 10% travel role

Small world, I actually sent this to a friend who accepted a job requiring 50% travel.

Please also remember that you don’t get paid for time on the road because it’s not billable. So if you have a 3 hour flight to a client site, you can’t bill for that time unless you’re actively working

funny

Bill the time.

what if covid gets worse- so make sure your job is safe despite the travel requirements

Personally, I resigned a job in the past because of that. However, I am married with family. My ex coworkers who were single seem to have loved it with free travel and being able to pocket some per diem

Should you?

50% is more doable than 100% by a longshot. Only you can answer that question for yourself. Traveling can be fun in a lot of ways but some hate it.

Use to do M-Th or Sun-Fri so 50% sounds great.

Would rather travel every other week to get to 50% versus every week less days.

Nahh

I’ve been a nurse for 10 years in Boston. I have a few years of sales that involved a lot of travel. Looking to step away from bedside nursing and get back into sales. I’m also a bit discouraged with my earnings and the wife wants to go down in hours to spend more time with the kids. So far I’ve applied to a few Novartis jobs and the interview process has started. Any other companies that you would suggest? I figure leveraging my medical knowledge would be best but I’m open. Thanks guys
