I've been following the Supreme Court mess all weekend, and it makes me not want to live in the US anymore. I was raised in a very conservative household and, as a mom, the idea of avoidable abortions makes me incredibly sad. But at the same time, how can people not recognize that eliminating legal abortions is just going to increase maternal mortality rates???

Does anyone have experience breaking up w a therapist? I've been seeing my therapist for 5+ years for eating disorder treatment and we've been through so much together, but I don't think she's able to help me anymore. While I've stopped my ED behaviors, they've evolved into OCD, and I'm finding that her methods might be making it worse. I think I want to try an OCD expert instead. But I don't know how to end the relationship. Do I just stop going? Do I explain myself? I don't know what to do 🥺

Wondering if anyone struggles with a similar problem I do - I was a volleyball player/serious athlete from 10 until I finished playing my senior year of college. I then worked as a full time volleyball coach/assistant director of operations for a super competitive club in south Florida. I changed career paths for stability and money increase, but now I find when I’m super stressed at work I avoid the gym. I normally go 4-6 days per week and consider it an outlet, but now seems to add stress.

Confession time. I absolutely despise flying. I go out of my way to avoid it. I will drive to a client overnight and not sleep before getting on an airplane. Unfortunately for the first time since COVID I have meetings that are too far to drive and am flying 4 different times this week. Brutal. I’m nauseous and can’t sleep. Any suggestions to ease the phobia quickly?! Help.

Hi! Completely new to this and been blessed with clear skin all my life. Starting to worry about preventing wrinkles, staying moisturized (my skin skews dry), reducing pore size, & looking less tired/more glowing. I want to create a structured, easy, fast daily routine.
Currently I use cerave hydrating facial cleanser when I remember, & sometimes The Ordinary hylauronic acid and retinol.
Recs for facial moisturizers, serums, toner, and SPF that goes on clear?
Thank you skincare lovers!

Hey guys, An off topic question.
When you people get some onsite opportunities (long term) and you take your wife/ kids along with you, how are you managing to take care of parents back in India.
I am the only son, married no kids, I do have onsite aspirations but due to this problem not able to think of it.

Any insights?

Does anyone know why I lose more weight when I eat 2000 calories vs when I eat 1200 calories? For reference, I am currently 5’7 F and 128 lbs. I cannot work out for another month due to an expiring CPA exam so I am definitely losing muscle mass.

When I calorie count, I account for every little thing such as the vegetable oils or the tbs of salt. The 1200 calories is usually an extremely large meal + fruits + soup. The 2000 calories is usually a meal from a restaurant + fruits + a sandwich.
