I accepted an offer at another big4(let’s call it A) and I currently work for big4 B. I won’t be able to put in my notice until next month. Today I learned that I got staffed on an audit client for YE. Which I won’t be working on much, but I have to roll with it for now since I can’t tell anyone. And I also learned that their provision preparer is big4 A. I won’t be working on this client after I transition to big4 A. Any issues if I just roll with it for this last month or do I have to disclose?
Client offering you a job can be one of the best endorsements a consultant can have. If I decide not to take the offer and stick to Consulting, will my org leadership appreciate me more if (Contd.)
Is it likely that if I put my notice in the middle of the project, Deloitte partner will pay me a one-time retention fee to keep me here for a short term duration (because of lack of available resource)?
I am interested in exploring opportunities with firms that allow remote employees. Ideally about 50% travel to client sites in the financial services sector. Anyone aware of good firms with similar
I recently heard a client talking about the sex wage gap as if it were real. I declined to engage since I didn't want to irritate the client. However, I thought this had been conclusively dispelled? There is no statistical disparity in pay for the same work between the sexes right? How do you correct this fallacy with a client? Is it worth it?

My firm is virtual - all work done remotely in home office unless on client site. Haven’t traveled since mid October. It’s driving me nuts. What do you recommend doing?
Project team is all traveling into my local city this week, meaning I've slept in this morning and spent almost 2 hours at the gym. It's going to be a good week
I've recently joined Deloitte India as a Consultant. One of the Associate Directors is forcing me to move to the base location ASAP. I'm not fully vaccinated and have my own inhibitons. 3 back to back deaths in my family due to covid. But he is not ready to understand any point and wants me to move. It's really taking a mental toll on me. What should I do?
Been on bench for two months now due to project start delay. Dipping in and out smaller engagements. Took on new hobby in between, now I like my new routine and don't want to be on long engagements
So are senior leadership just yes-men/women? Has anyone encountered a scenario where they had senior leadership push back to the client?
In your opinion, what’s the expected response time for standard emails (not time sensitive, normal client/partner). 48 hours? 24 hours? 12? Depends?

SF Producers - favorite audio recording studios in SF or South Bay? Need one that can help kid glove a client that needs to be recorded - in other words - not dealing with a seasoned voice actor.
We are here to guide clients: but this is not always the case when your client believes they are the target audience for their product. How do you convince them that they are not and trust the agency?
I’m working on a food-related passion project with an art director friend! Looking for people in advertising who like to cook and can provide us with recipes and food pics. Interested (or know someone who might be)? DM me!
Got a weird one for you - what's "business casual" for a client meeting? Last time my MD told me this, he showed up in a $2000 sport coat and everyone on client side was in a blazer
Starting a new job soon and have some time off before then, besides relaxing, anything I should do to prepare for the new position?
What is Mck like in terms of inclusivity? Just got an offer. But nervous about all the whiteness i saw. Any 🐠 willing to share about the culture?
I spent the last 3 months "growing up" & now I'm ready to go. 1st thing is for me to get my own place. I'd like to buy instead of rent because I don't want to pay someone else's mortgage. I'm thinking of selling my car & cash out some of my 401k to buy a house. My thought is to put down 3.5% for a FHA loan then make a big payment towards the principal to reduce long-term interest. Anything wrong with this thinking or anything else I should consider?
25 and convinced I have adhd. I have an appointment set up but interested to hear from anyone who was diagnosed later in life (vs as a kid) and if you took meds

Covid sucked but I didn’t let it stop me from living. Met the love of my life and now getting married. Started two bad ass side hustles, got more fit and discovered peace thru Yoga/meditation. Also, quit drinking, two months now. Moral of the story, nothing changes if nothing changes.
So peeps, office opening up. What's your plans on moving to Mumbai? Knowing apartment hunting can be a real bitch, some are planning to go back to hometown in the WFH week. i.e work at office at designated week and live in temporary accommodation, and then travel back.

Hi, would love some advice! I’ve been at my company ~1 yr and feeling like I need a change due to various reasons. Not sure if I can apply elsewhere w/ a little less than 1 yr under my belt, and I don’t have many connections in my area. Right now, I play a BSA role on my team, and I’m hoping to pursue product/UX design. I’m also doing a UX bootcamp in the spring & working on a udemy course outside of work for UX/UI. What’s a good stepping stone role (remote preferred)?

Looking for an analyst for our analytics team, preferably based in Baltimore/DC, but potentially open to remote for the right candidate. Happy to send a JD if anyone is interested.
M here. I’ve done a lot therapy and reflection and realized I grew up believing in traditional gender roles. Although I logically believe in equality, I find myself desiring a traditional “wife stays at home and tends to the house” life. I’m ashamed of it, especially since my SO is a strong, intelligent, highly independent woman who likes to work, and I wouldn’t want to change anything about her.
Thank the lord for Rodgers and Adams. They might just have pulled through enough for me to win the chip. I just need Buffalo D to get less than 11 points and the chip is mine
I accepted an offer for a T2 firm but haven't started yet (background check in progress) and just received an offer at an MBB. Should I take the MBB and renege on the T2? Any advice on how to word this to the T2? Should I renege after I sign with MBB? Are there any repercussions I should be aware of? Thanks for the help!
