If you want to climb up in the company, then yes of course. If this is a stepping stone to your next adventure, then nahhhh. Personally I’m in the latter camp.

Hey all. My project is going well, but we had two new resources join and we clearly don't have budget. Assuming no one will be rolled off, are there situations where Directors squeeze timelines?

Thoughts on Microsoft teams? Favorite feature about it?

Moms, both husband and I are nearing the end of our parental leave. We live in a two bedroom in NYC. We are thinking of hiring a nanny. The plan is that I would work from one room and husband would work from another room. We can move the changing table and pack n play in the living room, and the nanny and the baby can hang in the living room. Does this sound like a good plan?

Anyone else's dog now an ERP expert due to WFH?

I am so jealous of men who never have to be pregnant.

I’m in my 4th week of WFH. For everybody having a hard time being isolated, things get better per week ✨

What provides better experience/credentials for entrance to an M7 MBA program: Big 4 consulting or big tech (e.g. Google or MSFT)?

How are firms handling the economic downturn in terms of billable hour requirements for associates? Are annual billable requirements being updated or mitigated in any way? Curious to see how other firms are handling this issue, and also afraid of not being able to take any time off until 2021 😳

Is the interview process to get into IBD harder or easier than top consulting firms like BCG/McKinsey/Bain? Where do the truly smart people work nowadays?

How would I go about making the transition from project management to production? Any PMs turned producers mind sharing their insight with a recent grad currently freelancing as a PM? Thanks!

Was hired into a company at a level that was more junior than my skills (Was out of work due to pandemic for a year). I’ve been at the company 5 months. We’re going through a reorg and my new position will really be leveraging my years of experience more so than other role. Is it appropriate to discuss a raise/adding senior to title? Or should I do the job and then prove myself then talk about raise. I have more experience than the senior members of my team. New leadership than when I was hired

If we mandate masks for US citizens who are fully vaccinated why don’t we check Covid status of illegals and prevent them from entering? Heck, they shouldn’t be allowed to enter anyway!!

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

Looking for Group Copy Supervisors for The Bloc! HCP/high science, and another spot is DTC/VR or medical device exp, a huge plus. Fully remote.

Question for managers/HR involved in hiring... to what extent do you receive LinkedIn InMails (a feature on LinkedIn Premium) where applicants reach out and attach their resumes? Effective or spam??

How long does it take to hear from HR after technical interview for experienced candidates? Does cognizant send rejection/selection mail after technical round?

So how do you feel the consulting life is impacting your wellness as you hop over the age of 40, I’m finding under Covid I’m much more healthy/lost weight etc.

I make about half of what the other folks on my team make. I trained my manager. And I'm 99% certain that I'm not going to get a promotion. I have excellent performance feedback. Advice?

How is the wlb at A&M MAS? Not expecting it to be a 9-5 by any means but want to make sure I’m not stepping into some crazy culture. Any insight would be helpful.

How do people in industry get promoted so fast? I have friends at fortune 500s who get promoted once a year or even less. Even my younger cousin just graduated last year, and at 8 months got promoted to “customer success manager” whereas in Big 4 I’ll be in my late 20s by manager
