Depends on what you’re eating. In general, reducing the intake of fat in the diet helps to manage cholesterol levels. That being said, some levels of cholesterol are healthy, so no need to overreact! PS: Not sure how cholesterol levels can help salary negotiations...

Contemplating exploring the Boston market. I’m a c/o 2015 litigation associate in New England making $135k base ($12.5k bonus) with a 1900-hour billing requirement that I stick close to. I’ve been contemplating testing Boston AmLaw waters for more $, but I don’t know what the *real* billable numbers are at those firms. Are there any Boston AmLaw litigators out there willing to share their *real* billable numbers? Salary and class year would help too. Thanks!

Any recommendations to pivot from consulting for someone with cloud engineering skills ? PwC Toronto assurance: being offered a job as a transfer from the US. I’ll be transferring as a senior associate 1 (aka this is my promo year). I’ll be either tier 1 or 2 since I’m an easy promote here in New York. I was offered 61k CAD assuming I’m tier 3. They said they might adjust it if my rating comes in higher. What should I expect if I were either tier 1 or 2? Trying to minimize the salary reduction…

Let’s hear some salary expectations! I could really use some help regarding a offer I received. Years of experience: 5 Job title: Accounting Manager, focusing on production. Company Profile: Mature Start-up, ~200 employees COL: medium to high (think Atlanta, Dallas).

Are you pro sharing your salary with others or keeping it quiet? If you were on a group call with 3 other women employees sharing their salaries, same YOE and same role, would you feel pressured to share yours? I did not feel comfortable as I make significantly more but want them to know.

I am left with L3 i.e HR Round scheduled for tomorrow. 1. is cognizant working culture good (coming from startup culture) 2. The role is having salary range of 8-15LPA( my current CTC is 7.2, how much hike is the best to ask for 2.5 yoe) 3. Any heads up would be appreciated.

Accepted an offer with a new company for a similar role I’m currently doing with over double the money. (YAY!) My immediate boss, was completely classless and belittled me for leaving. • “You can’t handle the role here? Good to know.” •” You are taking a step backwards in your career?” (I’m not) • “If you can’t handle running a large sales org, then this makes sense, I’ll make sure your replacement can.” (I can and do, and will at my next role, making double the money.) 🙄🙄🙄 stay classy

What % bonus is reasonable to expect for someone with 1 YOE and $90k base? This bonus would be in month 15 after starting. Just curious what people would expect from their firm with those credentials

Kamusta? I'm new here. I'm a CPA in the Philippines. I'm thinking if I can continue my profession and progress my career in other country and also to seek higher salary with great benefits but less cost of living. Where do you think should I start checking on? 😁 I'm thinking if I should go back as External Assurance Auditor to where I am 2.5 yrs ago in a one of the Big 4 before I became a Consultant on a project-based as, so far, as Tax Specialist. Any advise to my baby mind? Thank you! 😊

Hi Everyone, In January I'll start as a freelance physical therapist at a a practice in the Hague, Netherlands. I negotiated a salary of 65% of the revenue I make for that practice. I was wondering if you think that percentage is fair or not. I have approx 5 years of PT work experience and have a University degree in Human Movement Sciences. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers Sam

I'm trying to make a case for my team's salary scale to be revisited. We are all "Linux/Unix Systems Admins" and getting paid the same scale as the Windows admins. I'm fairly confident that we should be 1 scale higher (roughly $10k more at the median) based on what I can find (Randstad's salary guide, for example, and experience with recruiters). What are your favourite compensation sites for the Canadian tech sector? Something that gets into detail about positions preferred...
