Welcome to Biomedical Engineers . Unsung heros of healthcare sector who maintain best quality of instrumnet equipment analyzer for better treatment of patients.
Currently in Sales Ops, previously a BDR at smaller company. 2 YOE. I'm thinking about switching over to consulting. I want to go back to client facing but at a strategic level without focusing too much on selling. Any advice? Referrals? I'm within healthcare.
Making decent money and my husband and I are starting IVF. I went from feeling ok financially to pretty concerned. Insurance only contributes 15k that’s it. I’m trying to decide how I feel about taking out a loan. Is it wise? Any IFV folks with a perspective?
Heading into final round at Accenture for Management Consultant - Asset Management on their Cap Markets team. Would love info on benefits package: PTO, 401k, health? Also, posting showed $119k-$166k for CO, if based in Boston what should the expectation be, $130?
Has anyone used a fitness/health/life coach? What was your experience? What was the cost?
Trying to figure out how to manage health issues and work balance. I just recently found out I might have herpes (waiting for the test results to come back) and I have been very and feeling like my life is over especially because it came from being cheated on and struggling with prioritizing my bandwidth and not knowing how to communicate it with my team. Due to stigmas around something as common as herpes I cannot comfortably share that with my team.
Could use your help. I’m reviewing a contract for a new (in-house, freelance) gig, and the following 3 things I want to counter — or at least I’m curious if these are common: 1) Non-compete for 2 years for same industry 2) Must have liability insurance for up to 2 million while there (didn’t know this existed honestly) 3) Must give 30 day notice if leaving (I’m fine with 2 weeks…but 30 days?!) …Any advice on if these are standard and how to best negotiate them?
I'm an experienced attorney (16 years), worked in government, small/medium firms, been a solo. I'm also looking to get out of family/immigration law and go into labor/insurance defense/litigation. According to BCG I'm a terrible candidate for lateral positions and was told that recruiters would never work with me. However, I still get emails/text messages that they want to work with me. WTH?!?!
Guys who have proposed with a purchased ring- have you ever been asked to split the ring insurance and if so how did you react? What is common practice?
Is it socially / professionally OK to request to leave an engagement? If yes, how do you go about doing so or what reasons seem acceptable? I’ve started looking up other engagements and my reason is the clients attitude is a bit unbearable, creating a difficult working env. to thrive in and probably detrimental to my career and mental health. Do I sound like a complainer or is this OK to do? Keep in mind, the clients employer as well as EY is aware of clients attitude and had several HR conv. w/
I'm at mid-big law. Doing insurance defense. Does the compensation ever get to a point where it's worth it
Does Accenture Federal have a strong healthcare arm? They reached out for a Military Health position a while back but its unclear to me the work they do in the healthcare space.
Really interested in women’s health, any strategic avenues in this? I would even take a pay cut to do something fulfilling in this industry. Any companies I should be following?
The pressure at work has increasingly led to a strain on my mental health. I have allowed myself one too many times to prioritize the needs of others (clients, PPMDs, etc.) before my own and the price is showing in my inability to highly perform like once before. I’m at the point of not caring about anything any longer, even if that means risking my job. I’m not sure the reason I’m posting this—perhaps I’m seeking guidance or maybe I just needed to vent. Sigh…
Anyone know how much the settlement for the Taylor Bean Whitaker lawsuit was? Just curious about the impact on the company's overall health.
I am looking to switch careers. I have been in my current career for nearly 20 years. I need a change. I have masters degree in instructional technology, health care administration, and English. I am working on trying to work my current skills into today's job market. That is more difficult than I anticipated. I guess I'm wondering if there really is anything out there to switch to? I feel lucky to have a job, but it is getting very depressing and difficult to get up for work.
If I have half a month, 12/18-12/31, without insurance, are there any tax implications? IRS explanations feel fine??? But hope to see if anyone has this experience! Thanks!
NJ market - Cousin of mine who has >500 rental properties advised that over next 3 yrs it’s possible for me to get 3 multi-fams if I buy 1 every year for next 3 years, by doing FHA on the first so 3.5% down and then doing less than 10% down on the next 2 if I do it right. Everywhere I read not seeing how that’s possible. can anyone explain pls? Is there a hack that after getting the 1st owner-occupied prop, I don’t have to put more than 10% down on 2nd home, and on 3rd??
have a bit of free time. would you rather spend it studying for a certification which may come with nominal career benefits or studying how to build web apps, which would come with the satisfaction of learning to build something tangible + potential monetary gains
Looking for a McKinsey referral. Currently in financial services tech consulting with 3 YOE. Thank you!

I got a confirmation of having a senior HR round for offer discussion from Accenture after successfully completing my technical round with the manager , sending all the documents for on-boarding and also giving LOA(letter of authorisation) to the documentation team.. I am supposed to get a call but unfortunately no one from the hiring team or any one connected me ...it's been a week I also tried hard to connect to them via email & call but no response received.... Can anyone help me on this.
Interviewing, second meeting with HR, was told there was a mistake in the salary range for the position. They dropped it 35% to exactly what I disclosed as my current salary. I know big mistake... but I thought they would understand that I wouldn't be leaving consulting for a lateral, when market value is much higher than what uncle D is currently paying. My thought is that there is probably no way to roll the clock back on this position.
How does being a manager in audit compare to being a manager in deal advisory (AAS)? Nervous to make the switch of the unknown.
Is LEK still hiring at the consultant level?
Who has worse hours FAAS or Audit? I know it depends on a lot of things but asking generally..
#OceanFact Have you always wondered why the sea tastes salty??? Well here is your answer- The Blue Whale ejaculates over 40 gallons of sperm when mating. Only 10% enters the female.

Was having a chat with a friend back home and he said high net worth families dont migrate or immigrate to foreign countries, though they acquire a permanent residency or citizenship to return back to India. Whats your take on that? I tend to disagree but now when I look at my friend ⭕ anyone with 25 Cr plus family net worth in T3 city did not choose to move or immigrate 🤔
Is it ok to bill the time that the shareholder explains the project to me? If so, how do you describe when billing?
