Good morning everyone. I’ve been in sales for over 10+ years now with accumulation of telecommunications, HCM, and insurance sales being the most recent. I’ve always thought about becoming a Googler and I wanted to see what information you can provide with entry level sales at Google Closest location is the NYC office. I hear a lot about the cloud base sales department. If there’s a contact (recruiter) that I could connect with that will be helpful. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you.

GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) Gartner Hi! I'm currently working as an Account Manager in SMB at Gartner. Received an offer to work at GLG EMEA's enterprise financial institutions segment, also as an Account Manager.
Does anyone have any feedback about GLG? Any advice? I do like Gartner but they're offering me a better pay and to work in a much more interesting segment at GLG.

Well, my first thought is if you are taking on more risk then you should be better compensated for it. Also, i would be curious what the rest of sales team looks like. Because if they are only a tear old then yall will be going hard.
It depends on your experience, not saying you need to be a TM already to jump into it but it’s vastly different than SDR. Also how your compensated and what kind of support your getting is something to take in mind. For instance sometimes taking the SDR is needed to bulk up your skill sets and absorb from rainmakers. If your already there and want to jump do it and happy hunting. Having a territory to call your own for a start up is great you’ll be building it out and grow with the company. Just depends where you are at in your career I’ve seen guys 30+ never make the jump vs 1-3 years make the jump. Regardless what you choose you’ll know if ya really want it and it fits you down the road or if it sucks and doesn’t fit at all.
