Should I have multiple Roth IRAs? I have one Roth IRA that I rolled in my previous employers roth 401k and using it to do backdoor Roth IRA. Does it make a difference to have everything in account?

You can’t. You should go to the FIRE subreddit and read the flow chart

Oh now I see what’s OP is saying. It seems needlessly complicated, but yeah I guess you could have 3-4 Roth accounts spread around..?

Aggregation rule for IRAs. Read it up newb

Basically I have a Roth IRA, I was below the income limit so everything was fine. I left my employer so I moved my 401k Roth into that account. Now I’m over the income limit to contribute directly and would like to backdoor Roth into the same account. Is that ok?

It’s fine to have multiple IRAs. Contribution limits are the same regardless (I.e. 6,000 across all accounts, not per account). For backdoor, you can roll it into your existing Roth IRA so there isn’t really a reason you would need to have multiple roths.

If you have any other traditional IRA balance, you will be subject to the pro-rata rule for taxes so be aware of it.

I currently work in Atlanta for a healthcare management company that is local to the area. I just got into the healthcare industry and have my bachelors degree in health science. I work in a position in the revenue cycle and I am looking to possibly get a new job in a more established company. I want more stability and opportunity within a company. Does anyone know of any places in/around Atlanta or remote that may fit this criteria? Sorry for the vagueness. Thanks!

Why do some people think that Europe is some kind of utopia? I mean: yes they have great public transport, because nobody can afford a car. Zoning does not exist , but because of this nobody can actually afford a house. There is free (but bad) healthcare/insurance so you have to pay 2/3 of your salary for taxes and insurance (and big European cities like Berlin also have a huge homelessness problem). Racism is almost worse and there is no diversity. Is this really the direction the US should go?

At what pt in the transaction is the furniture for a home sold/moved? Had a buyer walk the day before closing so a bit paranoid about this time around. With the last buyer, they were going inherit the furniture so this wasn’t an issue, but the new buyer does not want it so trying to have them allow me to sell it (for 2-3 days) after closing day so I’m not shit out of luck. The property is an airbnb, so if i sell everything and this new buyer walks, I’m screwed as i’ll have to pay $3400 a month.
