Who’s planning on leaving after getting their bonus?
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

What's your prior experience? If this is your first dip in consulting then I wouldn't want to come in as an M, I came over from industry direct to M and it was constant struggle for the first 2-3 years as I didn't have the relationship management skills needed for consulting, the oracle skills were great but learning how to manage clients and partners was brutal. I wish I came in as SC so I could get promo and learn the core skills, looking back time to SM likely would have been similar.
I m having 13 plus to total experience, and more than 10 yrs in oracle consulting.
EY Oracle leadership is really supportive. It’s a great practice and it specifically will benefit immensely and see a lot of growth with the split. Get in before the split.

Take the extra $25k + manager title and don’t sweat it. WLB at D is the pits anyway…
I would take the promotion and money. You are also in on the ground floor when EY goes public and can fully support Oracle engagements. The practice will be on a rocket ship.
Not true about difficult to get Oracle work at EY. May be smaller but growing fast. And Manager > Senior. Plus more $
Yes. And we’ll have a lot more with the upcoming split of the firm
Join EY, for a better work culture and environment
Worked in both places. Would highly recommend EY over deloitte as a place to work

Deloitte. Oracle implementation roles can pin you in a corner pretty hard
EY bonuses suck, total comp will be same
Amazon1 deloitte is also offering a pension on top of 401k match. Rates increases with sum of (age + tenure), current Deloitte contributes 5% of my total comp, so not bad at all
EY, D will make you stay in SC level for 3 years and won’t factor your past experience.
Negotiate with Deloitte based on ur EY offer
Thanks, tried but deloitte is not negotiating. Just getting 5k more in joining bonus in deloitte
I would take the higher title/pay. At least once you’re a manager, you can leverage that for future job roles.
Is EY tech consulting or business? And what city?
I work out of the Cincinnati office. Dm me if you have any questions

Also just to add. EY restructuring is happening relatively soon so the consulting practice will be free of audit restrictions
« Soon » lol
If the practice is small then there is room for growth. Join EY
