Could anyone elaborate on or point me in the direction for info on AUSAs, when it comes to restrictions on trading securities? I know the SEC is very strict and has a blanket rule for all attorneys, but not sure about DOJ attorneys (and whether it depends on what office/unit/section you’re in).
Walker & Dunlop Cushman & Wakefield Greetings! I have two real estate offers. Both are from large RE firms in NYC and pay is about the same. Which is the better choice? Multifamily Agency Origination v. CMBS Conduit Origination

I have been offered a job at Deloitte USI support services as an Enabling Consultant - Project and Program Management (Global methods and tools consultant). The job is primarily to be a Coach. Is this a good opportunity? I aspire to be pursue a Product Management career. Will this opportunity anywhere align at a later stage.?
What would be a good compensation for this role for a person with 5 years experience?
Thinking of switching from TAS/Valution to Investment Banking. Has anyone else made the jump? Work seems to be a lot more demanding, curious if it’s that case.
How do y’all handle mean girl drama within departments? A few of us in my marketing department are at the point where we feel we can’t effectively do our jobs due to anything we do sparking the rumor mill.
I really wish that there was a way to see what the average billable hours is per associate at each firm. It's cool to say bonus threshold is only 1900, but means nothing when the average is 2100 per associate 🙃
Are any other plaintiff’s attorneys getting extremely low settlement offers & seeing adjusters use COVID as leverage?

Hey designers out here! I'm curious why you pivoted to the design field... 🥰 What was your happy accident to make you think to become a designer? How was your journey to your career switch?
Hi all! Wanting to get some insight into pay structure for outpatient clinics (essentially CMH). Looking to negotiate a raise soon and would love some extra points of reference. I’m in PA - LPC and ATR-BC - 10 years experience, 8 years post-masters.
I'm not going to get back 5 hours of my life.
Watched "Indian Matchmaking". Full of incredulous stereotypes that I abhor. Indian here, btw.

I’m ready to make a change at the firm. I literally dread logging on every morning. This project is so crazy I don’t know what I’m doing at this point. Feels like I’m losing brain cells.
I work at a midsize, overwhelmingly white firm. A few weeks ago, I was working on client notes and my project manager said that the notes were good except for some grammatical and spelling errors. I found that odd since my spelling and grammar are always on point. I send the next round of notes to him the following week but this time, I asked if there are any edits, please feel free to add track changes. I get the notes back and unsurprisingly, he doesn’t have any track changes to add. Thoughts?

Most people talk about exiting into VC, but what are the options for exiting out of VC? Specifically jobs where you have some skill transfer, less hours / volatility, but pays pretty well - like working for a big tech company.

Is anyone here working towards pivoting into a tech role? If so, have you pivoted internally at your company? My future aspirations lean towards a systems or data analyst role and wanted to know if anyone has had any luck.

Looking to leave my auditing position with only 3 months of experience... I'm in a relatively small firm, and my manager's micromanaging is insane... Want to go into advisory, any advice is welcome.
I work at Big4 TAS Germany, with a great team and a nice role that I enjoy. Nevertheless, I very often feel underpaid and at the moment the market seems quite hot and it would be possible to change to IB. Anyone has views on Big4 TAS vs Small local IB Boutiques (IEG, Case, Contor). Money is definitely better but I am afraid that the lack of name recognition may hinder my exit opps long term.
Been in retail Banking for almost 10 years. Need a change of environment. Any recommendation on remote jobs?
Has anyone tried to leave their job but was given a fat retention bonus to stay? Seems like banks are reeling from junior banker departures.....
Stay in corporate credit risk at a BB as an associate or transition to corporate banking as an associate at a regional bank. Cannot decide! Please help?
Any thoughts on moving into tech from sell-side research? Have an MBA and currently work as a research associate but not enjoying this anymore…getting repetitive and cumbersome. Plus WLB doesn’t justify the pay. Have a few friends who have suggested partner development roles in tech and from what I’ve heard, those sound awesome (relationship management, some number crunching, product knowledge etc.). Anyone have thoughts on how to go about this? Or where to start even? In Canada but can go to US
Love Wealth Management and being a Financial Advisor, but not liking with the the company I’m with currently. Any tips/referrals on how I can pivot towards JPM,MS,GS? LinkedIn? Other websites? Should I consider smaller independent firms?
Just needed some advice, I have been interviewing with a company and have had 3 interviews so far. The HR person said I may have another interview and he would let me know on Monday or Tuesday of this week, but the same day he told me that, the role was reposted on LinkedIn. Also he hasn’t gotten back to me this week yet. This makes me think I’m a backup or something. Any advice on how to proceed?
Left my first job after just shy of two years because I was bored. Have been at my current job for about half a year and it’s a great resume builder but an absolute horror story (long hours, unreasonable clients, tons of weekend work that’s not worth the pay). If I left in a few months, at the 10 month mark, would that significantly hurt my chances of getting a strong exit opportunity? I can’t imagine staying here for the full year but I don’t want to blow my chances at leaving for a cool job
Any particular segment of sales good for ex-finance? Currently 3 years in at fortune 100 bank on business development side (on commercial loan originations team but no commission/targets at the associate level, basically do credit analysis and build pitch books for the producers) This role has been great as I have gotten both analytical experience and tasted sales experience (I say taste bc I’m not the producer) but would potentially like to transition to a sales role that is less analytical
Anyone here know what the hours are like in a sellside fixed income research job at a bank (like Barclays, Citi, UBS, etc)?

Did I just mark myself as a flight risk by telling my managers that I was going to take another internal opportunity? If the new manager changes her mind in the process (and of course she still can since the written offer is not out yet - the org likes to have everything buttoned up before handing out the writing offer so it's accepted immediately), am I screwed? Oh I also said, to my current managers, that the workload was wearing on me... this idiot here
