Hello! Is anyone working at Spotify or HubSpot within product/project management that would be willing to connect for a virtual coffee chat?
I’m a recent grad and currently working in tech/product development. I have been interested in growing my career at either of these companies and would be grateful to gain insight on day-to-day and steps you took to successfully break in.
I know this might be a big ask here, but it’s been difficult trying to land one on LinkedIn. Thanks in advance

Depends
There's a lot to be said for boutique vs brand. Take stock of the following and then follow your gut
1. Are you happy where you are?
2. Is the work fulfilling?
3. Do you have a clear growth trajectory?
4. Do you like the people there?
5. How much do you actually work? (WLB)
6. How do you spend your free time?
7. If you didn't have any opportunities on the table, would you be trying to find them and leave anyway?
8. Is the comp: stressfully low, fine but could be better, good and no complaints, great and loving it?
9. Based on all the above, how much does that mean to you? Quantify it.
Let's say you land the MBB role. 50% pay increase right away. Would that be enough to justify a worst case scenario of:
- hate the work, hate the people
- hours doubled and always on call
- unclear growth trajectory
- no time for your personal interests
If 50% can make that tolerable, or you are unhappy where you are, go for it! If you would need more to justify it but that would make it all okay, figure out that number and don't back down from it. Otherwise, if you got a good thing going there's no rush to jump - MBB isn't going anywhere and saying no thanks at this time never hurt anyone.
If you want the recognition of working at MBB for the rest of your career, yes. However, this depends on the role.
Strategy consultant? I would take in a heartbeat. They will teach you and that's not a bad thing to start from zero again. Better now than later.

Ok lol
Based on context shared, No. Doesn’t seem like you want to leave.
I’d say it depends on the boutique. If it has a good rep in a specific industry you see yourself working in long term, then it may be best to stay. That being said, restarting your career 1.5 years in is no big deal. Marathon not a sprint
