Capgemini offered 15 LPA fixed for B2 grade during HR round then on offer letter gave a C1 Grade with 15 LPA Fixed plus Variable. That brought out the fixed to 13.5 LPA. I straightway asked the recruiter to revise as per our discussion and didi not accept the offer letter. HR told she will try and revise. Right way to go? Capgemini Tata Consultancy Accenture

Does anyone know what the starting salary would be for a just promoted senior accountant in A&A at MNP in Alberta, Canada (specifically Red Deer)?
I have been told I will receive an offer shortly and want to have some idea of what is a fair offer is, as my options are either take it or wait for internal promotion at my current company which should have occurred already. I have written CFE and passed it but still getting my hours for the designation. MNP

What are you gonna do if your current employer says no? Be willing to take the external offer or you’d lose credibility if you stay.
Im still active applying and have other potential offers coming down the pipeline. But agreed, def willing to walk away.
Just want to add:
I am willing to share the offer letter. Also, in no means am I putting them in an ultimatum saying pay me or I’m leaving.
Can certainly relate. I'm struggling with the same thing myself right now.
Thank you! Would really appreciate that.
Knowledge is power 😉
If you have the pay gap facts, put them openly on the table and ask to match it or explain why there is a gap in the first place. It can only raise your credibility honeslty as you know how to do business.
Following this for sure.

What are your priorities here? While it is great to earn extra money it is not the only aspect of your job. I've had plenty of clients who ran after the money only to find out that they ended up in a terrible culture. Be sure to do your due diligence about the other company. A 30% increase is substantial. What are the benefits and unspoken benefits that you have with your present company and what will the benefits and unspoken benefits be with a new company? Make a decision that works for your whole life not just your bank account.

To TRC1 - Of course and totally agree with you salary isn’t the end all be all. Benefits at the current org are slightly better with PTO and 401k but the big difference is obviously salary and going into the office. Office at current is 1-2 times per month vs 2 times per week at the new.
I think it’s important to recognize when you’re employee doesn’t value your worth until it’s too late and is a massive red flag for me. Thoughts?
