Can someone please give me some insight on cvent vs appdynamics cisco. Both are giving similar fixed CTC of 29 on 5 YOE. I know appdynamics provide great learning opportunities but cvent is also good. I am from Chandigarh so Delhi is also mor near to my home.

Currently a manager in EY’s GPS practice. Looks like there is roughly 75 senior mangers and roughly 4-6 of those get promoted to PPED in any given year. Doesn’t take a genius to realize I’m only one promotion away from capping out. So I’m thinking about just going to a random 8a company and doing the 5 year stints ($175k annual approx) for the next 15 years. 35 now. Any upside I’m giving up by doing this? I’d loose independence requirements

I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.

I get an email today, from a Googler, an invite to apply for a position. I did not accept or decline yet and I don’t have any details. I did look up the person who sent me the invite, the person is a regional lead.

My work just had a retreat and I felt so out of place and uncomfortable. I tried to talk to people but was pretty much ignored and honestly it was really stressful for me, and the reason I chose a remote role was to avoid this.
