In the same boat! I’d say go for home country - the US will always be there, so will your H1b since you already got a place in the quota. You could always find a way back if things don’t work out. Go and be happy.
Definitely take the opportunity. US pay is nothing compared to returns if u hit it big. Imagine this : 2% of a Company stock listed at 12 Rs. & trading at 800. A few Millions within 3 yrs.
Besides, tax and cost of living may be lower so pay cut may not impact your life style too much.
If you are married, consider family decisions as well.
I would personally take the risk if family didn't disagree. Remember: Higher risk, higher returns.
